National Scrapbooking Day Final Artwork

I had a great time on Saturday showing the techniques and process to create 3 very different layouts. Here are the final pictures of the layouts. The videos are up on my YouTube channel. This layout was full of techniques – inking, reverse stamping, rock and roll stamping plus more. Having fun with inking and water using Distressed Oxide inks and distressing the paper to create this more rough looking layout. Using the Silver paper to create realistic looking tools. May 1, 2024 – New Chapter

Today is the day that I start on this new adventure with Stampin’ Up. It has been a long month and not without some stress to try to get all the pieces lined up and understood. Decision Made

Clean and Simple

I have been quite for the last few weeks working on cards for my holiday card buffet. It was a great success so much so I planned a second one first week of Dec. Grit

It has been a great week. I received such positive feedback from my Maker family on my first workshop – Boo Crew. It felt so good to have the hard work get such positive comments. With the holidays fast approaching I am hosting a Christmas Card Buffet to get some Christmas cards made early. The buffet will include 10-15 different cards options that you can choose to make. Photo Friday

Just checking in again- did you review your photos last week? Congratulations if you did your review you are halfway to a habit. So this week is a short post about photo printing. I found a new app that will let me resize my photos to the 3×3 and 4×4 sizes that I like to used on my layouts. It is an iPhone app Print to Size and it allows me to crop and resize my photos to these square sizes. Another app I use is the Epson Creative Print app for collage prints. Labor Day

So this is a non-scrapbooking post. This weekend was spent with more as a re-charge and re-connect weekend. Playing golf with Steve and a friend. 22nd wedding anniversary on Sunday. And today a 26 mile bike ride today. That sounds more impressive than it is. I went with a friend that has electric bikes so there was assistance with the ride but it was fun and I felt like I accomplished a good workout. September 1st was a double launch. Our bi-monthly idea book also came out with the start of the holiday season showing in these paper collections. Christmas in September

Today was the big day! CTMH Annual Catalog launch. New colors, new papers, new stamps …. So many goodies to look at and get inspired by. This cover is just so pretty but there is so much more. My Why…

I started scrapbooking in the late 90’s. I started with my wedding planning, A book I would not recommend starting with. I loved the process of designing a page and putting pictures down on that design. I have always struggled with the stories, mostly because I have really terrible handwriting. I have been scrapbooking off and on over the years as my kids were growing up but it was never consistent.
