If you’re anything like me, you know that leftovers aren’t just for the kitchen. In the world of crafting, they can be both a blessing and a challenge. While they save me from the hassle of cooking, they also demand creative storage solutions and a good memory to recall what we have tucked away.
That’s why I make it my goal to use up as much of any kit as possible. Not only does this keep my craft space tidy, but it also pushes my creativity to new heights! Today, I’m excited to share the first additional layout I created using leftovers from the “Autumn to Remember Scrapbooking Workshop.” 🍁

This layout was particularly fun because I got to repurpose the large paper pieces I had cut from the centers of other layouts. Here’s a sneak peek into the techniques I used to bring this project to life:
- Distressing Delight: I added texture to the cardstock by distressing it with the sides of my scissors.
- Ink Magic: The exclusive paper from the workshop got a makeover with some ink distressing.
- Rock and Roll Inking: I used two ink colors on the leaves from the “Autumn to Remember” stamp set for a dynamic look.
- Colorful Leaves: A dauber helped me blend multiple colors onto the leaves, adding depth and vibrancy.
- Stamp Bending: By bending the stamp, I created unique oval and circle shapes from the same set.
- Die-Cut Creativity: The “Take a Bow” die set and “So Swirly” embossing folder were perfect for crafting a charming basket for the apples.
- Stylish Apples: I used the “Stylish Shapes” circle dies to cut out adorable apples.
- Embellishment Clusters: Stickers and die cuts from the workshop added the finishing touches to my embellishment clusters.
Curious to see how it all came together? I walk through the entire process in my latest YouTube video. 🎥✨
