🎬 June 2026: From Half Moon Bay to Portugal — Let’s Catch Up!

Happy June, everyone! Can you believe we’re already halfway through the year? May was a busy one — family time, a little local travel, and a some amount of time in the craft room. Let’s catch up!

May Highlights 🎉

We had a really nice family get-together to celebrate Lorelei’s 24th birthday and getting her AA degree! — I honestly can’t believe she’s 24! It was a great day with everyone together.

We also got out of the house a bit this month. For Mother’s Day we headed over to Half Moon Bay, which is always a nice way to spend the day. I also made a trip up to Chico to visit a friend and stopped in Vacaville on the way to spend some time with family. It was a good little trip.

These are exactly the kinds of everyday moments I love having in a scrapbook — not every page has to be a big vacation. The regular stuff matters too!

Life in Bloom: The Workshop Layouts 🌸

I’ve been working on the Life in Bloom Scrapbooking Workshop this past month, and I put together three YouTube videos walking through the whole process. Here’s a look at the layouts.

The first layout uses photos from a past trip to Bermuda. The Life in Bloom papers worked really well with these travel photos — the greens and blues coordinate nicely with the ocean shots, and the lily of the valley die cut adds a pretty detail across the page without being too fussy. I added a bit more of the purple to this one on the right page to balance out the layout. As well as I added in an extra cluster on the right to create the visual triangle.

The second layout is from a trip to the Disneyland Paris from October 2024 with Lorelei — and yes, if you’ve followed along for a while, you know Disney is one of the places I love to visit every few years. This one was special as I was traveling to visit Lorelei during her study abroad break. So we picked meeting up in Paris for Disney and then traveled to Belgium for a few days.

The sentiment “I ♥ days like these” felt just right for this layout . The Life in Bloom florals and papers go surprisingly well with all those topiary greens, and I loved the way the Cheshire Cat fits with the purples in this paper pack. I also added a bit more purple to play up that color on this layout too.

The third layout is just about finished — here’s a peek at what’s on my desk right now! Video will be posted on Saturday! A nod to graduation season is the direction this layout is taking.

Watch the Full Series on YouTube: Here are the first 2 videos so you can watch to start with.

💬 Have you tried the Life in Bloom collection? I’d love to see what you’ve made — share in the comments!

New June Kits from Stampin’ Up! 🌸

June brought two new kits, and they’re both worth a look depending on your style.

The first is the Shaded Petals Kit. This one is all about layered paper flowers — the kit includes pre-cut die-cut pieces in soft pastels that you assemble into dimensional blooms for your cards. This kit comes with 2 ink spots, Calypso Coral and Highland Heather PLUS 2 sponge daubers to create added dimension with ink on the die cut flowers. If you’ve wanted to try making paper flowers but weren’t sure where to start, this is a nice low-barrier way to do it. Everything you need to build the flowers is right there in the kit, and the finished cards look more involved than they actually are. The color palette — Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Garden Green, gold, Highland Heather — is easy kit to work with for everyday cards.

The second kit is the Washes of Gratitude Kit, and it has a completely different feel. This one leans into a watercolor wash look — the backgrounds have that soft, painted quality, and the white botanical die cuts layer over the top for a clean, elegant contrast. It’s a more sophisticated look than the Shaded Petals kit, and it comes together quickly. No stamping or inking, just a little glue and your set with great set of cards to have on hand. The thank you and gratitude sentiments make it practical for cards you’ll actually send.

Both kits are available now in my shop 👉 https://www.stampinup.com/?demoid=2298082

June Product of the Month: Wild Bunch Stamp Set 🐨🐄🐌

The June Product of the Month is the Wild Bunch Stamp Set, and honestly, it’s pretty cute. We’ve got a koala, a highland cow, a snail, and a penguin — a fun little crew.

It’s a versatile set — works for birthday cards, thank you cards, everyday notes, and you could definitely work these little critters into a scrapbook page if you wanted something a little whimsical.

How to get it: The Wild Bunch Stamp Set is just $5.00 with a $75 order this month through my shop.

✂️ The Golden Scissors Membership

If you’re not already a member of The Golden Scissors, this month is a good one to jump in. I’m posting a Father’s Day card tutorial that walks through using dies and 6×6 papers together — it’s a technique that gets a lot of mileage and works well beyond just Father’s Day cards once you understand the approach. This card design is from my upline and is something I can’t share on my public channel, so it lives exclusively in the membership.

It’s $4.99/month, and you can cancel anytime.

Coming Up: Portugal & Bermuda! ✈️

On June 12th I’m heading out for a trip to Portugal and Bermuda, so content will be on the lighter side for the second half of the month. I’ll be sharing photos along the way on Instagram and Facebook if you want to follow along, and I’ll definitely be coming back with plenty of material for future layouts!

💬 If you’ve been to Portugal or Bermuda and have a favorite spot I shouldn’t miss, drop it in the comments — I’m still putting my list together!
